Highwaymen of the High Seas
I wrote a long-form piece on the intriguing and somewhat enigmatic seabird migrant Pomarine Skua. The first small flocks of this kleptomaniacal opportunist are being seen off our coasts now, as they head to Arctic Russia to breed and scare the living daylights out of the local gulls and lemmings.
